*Summer Camp Week 1: Secrets of Almonte – July 4th, 2023 – July 7th, 2023

Be a part of MMYC's most AWESOME summer yet!

Join us for our SECRETS OF ALMONTE themed Summer Camp for youth ages 10-18. This 4-day camp will be happening July 4 - July 7 and costs $160.

Featuring outings to famous Almonte landmarks and visits from guests who do the jobs that keep Almonte ticking, tennis, splash pad, art workshops, a scavenger hunt, science activities, batch cooking, dress up day and more!

• This camp takes place at Mississippi Mills Youth Centre, located at 134 Main Street East, Almonte, ON, K0A 1A0
• Camp doors open at 9:00am
• Snacks, meals, activities, materials, and other costs are included in the cost of camp
• Campers are free to leave when camp ends at 4:30pm

Every week campers will need:
A personal water bottle
A bag or backpack to carry personal belongings on walks and excursions
Close-toed shoes for playing outdoor sports and games
A bathing suit/water clothes for the splash pad
Sun screen

MMYC will provide:
N95 and medical masks - available to youth and visitors by the front door
Beach Towels
Field trip transportation
Snacks and meals
All needed program materials and supplies

New to MMYC? All youth are required to read, sign, and return our Youth Membership Package (YMP) before joining us for programming. The YMP allows us to track emergency contact information, medical and dietary information, photo consent, our behaviour contract with youth members, and other contract agreements between staff, youth, and caring adults. Looking for more info about camp? Our program coordinator will begin sending out the final camp itineraries to registered campers in the first week of June. This email will include our planned lunch menu, excursions, and special guests for the week you registered for. This email will also include detailed instructions for preparing for the week’s activities, as well as our policies on outside food, leaving camp, technology use, and more.
